Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Setu (Ambedkar Flyover)
Bhopal's longest flyover was inaugurated in January 2025; a quality inspection a week later found unsatisfactory riding-surface finishing and excessive expansion-joint corrosion. By August 2026 the asphalt layer had begun peeling with reinforcement rods exposed.
Bhopal BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit) Corridor
The dedicated 24km bus corridor launched in 2013 recorded 121 accidents and 21 fatalities between 2016-2018, worsened congestion in adjoining lanes despite its own underuse, and hurt local businesses; years of pressure eventually led authorities to plan dismantling stretches.

Aishbagh ROB — Bridge With a 90-Degree Turn
The 648-metre, 8.5-metre-wide road-over-bridge was built with an abrupt L-shaped, sharp ~90-degree (later measured at 118-119 degrees) turn, which went viral as "inherently dangerous." After massive public backlash, Indian Railways agreed to transfer extra land so PWD could re-profile the curve for a gentler turn, adding roughly 3 feet of carriageway width; the original construction agency and design consultant were blacklisted.
