On record

A 5-acre park named after a former Chief Minister was renovated in 2019 with a fountain, lighting, benches and a walking track, but has since fallen into disrepair with broken swings, overgrown pathways, open sewage, garbage accumulation, stray animals and reported gambling on the premises, driving away residents who once used it for daily walks.

The official record states: "Not specified: the Joint MC Commissioner promised to seek a report and take action; the MC Commissioner was unavailable for comment."
