On record

Inaugurated with fanfare by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar after nearly two years of construction delay past its original deadline, the 100-vehicle facility built by Faridabad Smart City Limited remained shut to the public months later, still awaiting a power connection and a finalised parking tariff before handover to the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran.

The official record states: "FSCL DGM Arvind Kumar: "As the parking lot was being handed over to the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran, the finalisation of the parking tariff for vehicles was likely to be done soon.""

“Inaugurated by the Chief Minister in January and locked ever since. The ceremony was the only occupancy.”— Blunderlust Editorial Desk

Ballabhgarh–Sohna Railway Overbridge Widening

A four-laning project for this ROB, announced in 2016, has been stalled for eight years without construction beginning, due to unresolved land-acquisition disputes over ~360 yards of land held by multiple claimants and disagreements over compensation.

Faridabad International Bus Stand: ₹1,000 Crore Project Stuck on Paper

Billed as Haryana's first "international-level" bus stand with AC waiting areas, food courts, retail and digital ticketing across four phases, the project's Detailed Project Report was submitted in April 2022 but sat awaiting state government approval more than a year later, since any project over ₹100 crore requires Chief Minister's Office sign-off. The proposed PPP structure has also drawn opposition from the Haryana Roadways Workers Union, which calls it privatization of a government asset.
