An RTI response revealed that years after being conceptualised in 2015 and despite a PM-led foundation stone ceremony in November 2024, "significant infrastructure work, including the hospital building and academic blocks, has yet to commence" and remains pending further approvals. As of the RTI disclosure, only the main gate had actually been built.
The official record states: "Implementing agency HSCC Ltd attributed the delay to pending approvals for major construction activities, despite the public foundation-stone ceremony and prior progress announcements."
