Aligarh's flagship Smart City "smart road" began falling apart within three years: streetlights broken or dark at night, and CCTV wiring/camera units near the Police Control Room and Lal Diggi crossing damaged.
The official record states: "Municipal Commissioner Prem Prakash Meena said the road is under "regular monitoring" and problems would be fixed."
